You are so far from wrong... College doesn't teach you much, I am a third-year and haven't learned a damn thing. This you are correct about, but I have had access to job fairs, and I have worked two different internships solely because of my university. Getting bank loans is going to be far easier, as well as third party loans and government loans. True school doesn't teach you much, but university is a must, plus I am on scholarship.
