I've always maintained this stance for as long as you go back. not once has some foreigner been racist to me. Everyone has been nothing but nice to me. I also have a mild Indian accent but despite this people smile at me, tell me have a good day etc. The only mild racism I've experienced is in the forms of prejudices and subtle micro aggressions. Maybe it's because I've only interacted with Americans in very liberal cities that could be the reason. Besides this racism has been a non issue for me

Like I'm sure some of the people I've met had prejudices and internal racist views but they were never openly racist to me. Racism I've seen irl was on other forms like prefential treatment, subtle remarks, pre existing views etc
