I started taking Finasteride at 19 years old, alongside Minoxidil. I have experienced zero side effects; however, I don't think it is stopping my hairline from receding. I have been taking it for almost 4 months. How long should the shedding last? Or is the medication not working for me?
I will try Dutasteride if Finasteride doesn't work. If that fails, I will commit suicide because I don't want to be a laughingstock to the public.

I am from New Zealand. You can only get oral Finasteride, maybe Dutasteride orally for cheap; the topical solutions will be unaffordable, same with oral Minoxidil.

I will try and see if the doctors will prescribe it, hopefully they will, but most doctors will claim it's dangerous.
