Dogs tend to be high maintenance and annoying. Better use of your money to buy a cheapo car if you don't already have a car because by the time you pay for the dog, it's food, and vet bills in a few years it will cost similar to what a budget car does. Car can give you freedom and fun, dog just ties you down and burdens you while offering nothing in return

Alright then if you know it's a good dog that's different. Could be worth it if you're an animal lover. We never had good luck with dogs and 2 out of the 4 dogs we had in my life were assholes.

I'm not an animal hater but I just don't connect with them very much and connect far more with machines I like. Nothing like feeling out a vehicle and how it handles on various terrain and also at high speed. I've done 95 miles an hour many times and will be doing more once the weather is nicer because I got a set of fresh tires on the car. Previous ones were 9 years old and I didn't want to push it past 95. Do you drive yet?

Interesting, I don't really have any attachment to machines. I just see it as a tool tbh

I am 16, so I am legally allowed to get my license, but I do not drive yet

Most people are like that but I always had a strong connection to vehicles especially. It's far more to me than some soulless appliance like a washing machine or refrigerator. You can have a lot of fun even with a basic one, but more unique vehicles are more special. In the last year or so I drove over 10000 miles with my truck

I got mine at 17, but was driving since 13 on rural roads my parents let me drive on. My dad taught me to drive on a riding mower as a kid and then let me drive a road vehicle on those low traffic roads at 13 because I liked it.
