I've been doing this part-time job that pays reasonably well (~20 dollars/hour) for like 11 hours/week. Pays enough to get by.
Though one big issue was always that I am stuck in an oldcel department with average age of ~45. Although I barely interact with my colleagues so it doesn't really matter I guess.
Well today I got the news that there is a shortage at a different department, and I will be trained for it soon, probably like 1-2 days of (paid) training. This department pays less than my own (~17 dollars/hour) but it has a lot of young people working there. Lots of girls too, avg age in early twenties.
The job is easier and you get to socialize with your colleagues more. But I keep my original 20dollar wage because I come from the better paid department. I will mostly be filling in shifts here and there and still work at my old department too, about 50/50.
Lifefuel ngl. There's a few attractive young girls at my job but I rarely interact with them since they're from this other department. This is now getting fixed and I didn't have to do anything.
Sometimes pieces just fall into the right place on their own.
