I've been consuming very large amounts of coffee with occasional energy-drinks mixed in, for years. I have tried to quantify my caffeine-usage and I think I average about ~1000mg per day. Maybe slightly more than that.
Since the new year. I have cutback hard on my caffeine consumption. Down to ~300mg per day. (just 2 morning coffees and some tea in the evening).
I would've thought it would have terrible effects on my energy-levels, becoming less focussed, not being able to work the night-shifts that I do.
But nope. I feel more energetic, focussed and less... sick? Somehow I didn't notice it during all these years.
My plan is to cut the morning coffees I am still drinking out aswell. I am not anti-coffee, but I feel like it's not healthy to have it as a daily habit and rely on it like that.
