I Am Going Into 1000 Calorie Deficit For 5-7 Days, Need Tips is it worth it?

so hello guys, i am going into 1000 calorie deficit eating like 1600-1700calories a day, with high protein to keep muscles, i think i am 12-13% bf now and i want to look more leaner on face, what you guys think will i look better at like 10-11% bf?

but i also don`t want to fuck up developing years as i am 17 years old. what your tips be and what your advices thank you very much!

my puberty started late like 13-14 years old.
 
Is there any reason you can’t do a slower cut? An aggressive one is ok if you know when to stop ( not getting enough sleep, can’t recover)

i thinking doing this for like maximum 1 week and then maintnance or slow deficit like 300-400 calories, i am just scared as i am 17 if this short term calorie deficit aggressive will affect my growth in height bonemass or any growth? thanks btw!

It’s hard to say, probably not worth cutting anymore if this is a concern
 
Yeh u shouldn't really be aggressively cutting at 17. you are still in an important development stage even if you hit puberty earlier
But i can understand the desire to be leaner ofc
I would say be careful though because very easy to develop a serious ED/binge eating disorder, and its not a meme, it will fuck up your progress in the long run. i would think about whether this cut would be worth it or not. But tbf 1700 calories is not terrible its all relative but you'll likely go into a larger deficit as time goes on, so watch out

u should rather go for high carbs and not protein eat like 200-230g carbs 115-125g proteins and 60g fats
