A manual to be exact.

In it is going to be (what I hope to achieve) the 20% of all computer programming/science/tech knowledge that covers 80% of all APIs, syntax, patterns, commands, knowledge nuggets, etc. to build video games.

I've already started my book. I have 2 sections down. The first section is the must know commands and switches for CMD, and how to use it. The second section is the must know commands and options and syntax for Winget. I figured cmd knowledge is fundamentals (for real software developers) and I figured winget is the most fundamental executable cuz... Well it's the executable that gets other executables for you. What better executable to start with then that?

My manual also has questions that are specifically designed to force me to recall the information. Cmd has 66 questions. And winget had 14, I believe.

Next thing I decided to add was windows most useful hotkeys. Some of these everyone knows Ctrl c, Ctrl v, Ctrl f, Ctrl z, etc. but there are some lesser known ones like Win x, Ctrl shift esc, Ctrl t, and Ctrl tab. There's like 25 or so I got down there.

Haven't finished that section, need to write the quiz ✍🏻 questions in a way that really forces me to remember.

After that Im probably going to be adding a lot of information for the PATH environment variable, since that one is the most important one to understand deeply. Then detailed info on Git.

Then dive into C# and Unity. HTML + CSS. Definitely my Blender Knowledge. And I'm debating if I want to put my flutter knowledge in there. I expect to have like 1000+ questions for myself.

There's also going to be a math section on there, must know constants like square root of 2, pi, Euler's number, gravity acceleration on earth, logarithmic rules, degree to radian conversions, and a bunch of other stuff.

Again the goal here is to cover the 20% that handles 80% of daily work. Specifically for building video games. My list isn't comprehensive, I might have forgotten to add something.

But anyways, after I build this manual, I'm going to deeply memorize it using techniques like spaced repetition to really force my brain to recall it after longer and longer periods to really engrain this knowledge into my mind.

Later ill add more volumes to my manuals. like Solidity, OS fundamentals, lower level stuff like ISAs and Logic Gate Circuit boards (ie Logisim). But that's way, waaaay down the line. After my company is already up and running.
