I've been there myself at 18.

When my sons turn 18 I'm not gonna put em through any kind of college. I'm gonna send em to a third world country on a one way ticket with $100 in their pocket telling them, "Come back with $1,000." Only after they've come back like I told em will I agree to help em go to college.
