Skin color only becomes a problem once it either affects contrast or looks like a health issue.

For instance, black people have terrible contrast. Hence they either need to make the rest of their face [hair, eyebrows, iris, etc.] a visual juxtaposition of their skin color or they would change their skin color/tones to make their skin a visual juxtaposition of their face [as aforementioned].

Or you're a studycel asian who looks like they got jaundice, or you're a british man who literally got lobster skin.

Ethnicity becomes an issue only due to certain facial failos seen frequently in races [I.E. african prognathism, indian proptosis, asian midfaces, european lips, caucasian CCW, slavic nostrils, etc] which if not present shouldn't be an issue.

It's simply harder to be Chang as an asian, or being Tyrone as an african, or being Chad as a european.

Their SMV differences are not that prominent either way, it's irrelevant arguing about that topic. Individually, though, race differences are real, fortunately or unfortunately.
