I have come to the conclusion that epigenetics/environment matters a lot more than people say.
You have the usual cope argument anytime i mention that nutrition/sleep/environment has a significant impact on height which is "Bro i only ate junk food, barely slept and i'm 6'0 tall bro, it's all genetics bro!!!", I get this every single time i talk about height and my response is the exact same because that's the truth. Yes you got to 6'0 because that is your genetics, my own view on it is that everyone has a genetic baseline of height and the deviation is +-3 inches, so a guy who has a 5'8 genetic baseline due to his fathers/uncles/grandfathers whatever genes responsible, he then has a + or - 3 inches based on that baseline and this deviation is dependent on nutrition, sleep and overall environment.
Now you're wondering how did i cope myself into thinking i could have been 5'11 when i am 174 aka 5'8.5, well that is a 2.5 inch difference so it's within the 3 inches or should i say 5-8cm deviation. Lets take a look at my growth during my puberty years.
I hit puberty before most of my peers, i was watching porn/masturbating very early, likely way before my peers, my voice deepened but i did not grow in height until later on from what i can recall (it was 15 years ago), now one thing discussed is that people who hit puberty earlier often are shorter aswell but this wasn't the point i wanted to talk about, During my growth years which i would say are 13 - 15 prime puberty years, I grew to 5'8, all my peers grew to 5'9 - 6'1 somewhere between that, most were 5'10 atleast.
How did fuck my growth up? I had little to no nutrition and calories during these years. I was as thin as a rail, all bones. This was particularly due to my mother at the time (yes if it's not clear already i was raised by a single mother, my father was absent, no surprise i'm a deadbeat at 29 like most other boys raised by single mothers) only giving me processed goyslop, frozen processed oven chips and other garbage processed junk with little to no nutrients. Not only that, during my school time which is around 9am to 4pm, i never ate anything besides maybe a single chocolate bar, during lunch i just ate nothing but maybe a chocolate while everyone else ate a proper full meal, go home and eat one small processed junk meal, maybe some more processed sugar, be on the computer until 3am, sleep for 4 hours max then rinse and repeat 5 days a week for 2 years, this was my life, i stunted my growth hard. Not only that but how can my body grow when the little tiny bit of nutrients and calories i would get, my body would have to use them for fuel instead of growth because i would play outdoors all day long (i know it's a foreign concept to zoomers but my generation actually spent time outside).
It's not hard, you can see so many kids who are like 6 feet tall and their parents, grandparents, etc are all short as fuck but they grew up in the west with good nutrition, lots of sleep etc. So their genetic baseline which may have been 1 inch taller than their father at 5'8 has now maxed out and they're 5'11 average zoomer height.

I'm just venting and because a lot of people call me a coper when i am certain i could have been 5'11 or somewhere atleast in the 5'10 range with proper nutrition and sleep. I don't think i'll ever forgive my deadbeat parents for this.

The difference between 5’9 and 5’11 is not enough to hinder you that drastically. If it’s 5’6 and 5’11 then it’s another story.

You can fraud to 5’11. Do you have a good frame at least ?

I'm 5'8.5 and yes the difference between 5'8.5 and 5'11 is significant, in my opinion 5'11 barefoot is the minimum to be respected as a man and not be a manlet where i live. Unfortunately the very things that made me not achieve my optimal height also fucked my frame up, you can't have a good frame when you don't eat anything or sleep or anything really, the growth if your body simply sin't going to happen. I'm a framecel.

Do you think having a top frame and physique can over come being 5’8/9? Look at Efron, Jason statham, Stallone ect ?

I'd rather be 5'11 and framecel because you can still gymcel and then look somewhat normal but below 5'11 is just manlet so it doesn't matter. Ofcourse i wish my farme was bigger but it sucks either way. Those guys are celebrities, average joe schmo 5'9 with good frame is still a manlet no matter what

Both of my parents are extremely short (mom 5'0, dad 5'6), I slept like shit during puberty, although I had a decent diet, still ended up 5'11.

Its extremely hard to stunt height

You either need to starve like dem kids in africa (famous asdvek quote when he still had a few brain cells) or have a health disorder which results in stunted height (like some autoimmune disorder which results in malabsorption)

I learned to accept that i have shit jeans

Even when in my case i literally have two autoimmune disorders, which one of them causes malabsorption and severe height stunting if not treated, mine was treated but not perfectly, I still have a similar height as my dad so cant say it impacted me

Tldr: you didnt stunt shit
