If not for social media i would never have friends and especially have a girlfriend. My biggest advice to anyone that is autistic/bad looking always was and always will be to just type to girls instead of cold approaching IRL. I got with my girlfriend purely through texting, and with my ex from texting aswell. I was with my ex for 3-4 years, so it's not a joke of a relationship..

i think i'm just average looking, but i never look good on photos because i let myself down recently. I have a lot of bloat and a face full of acne. Maybe back 4-5 months ago i could look half decent but nowadays i don't even send any photos to my girlfiend.

My lack of connections was always due to autism, i have big social anxiety and am diagnosed with aspergers. The only way i could ever communicate was online - which is also why i found a big liking to this forum.

Social networking isn't cope, it's a genuine saving grace for people like me. You can get a girl to love you without her seeing your face or needing to talk IRL.
