I now have a well respected high iq user who has validated my masseter gains
@Mathafack can confirm

@????Yo
@Bewusst
Obviously my jaw is not pitt tier yet but even if I had his exact jaw I still need to fix nose and midface and eyes and hairline

Chewing the same tough food to a paste... at a quicker pace makes my masseters exhausted, maybe that's why it's legit.
But chewing has downsides too altering your maxilla at much worse position, @Gudru once mentioned about it.

Idk I think my face as a whole is stretched a little tighter and more defined I think chewing on front teeth can shorten maxilla or help it and back teeth make it longer

Imagine not believing in chewing when you can search up masseter hypertrophy

Mewing can be sid to be meme, but chewing is proven with fucking common sense, you can even get wider zygos by making temporal muscls and masseter press bone.

Honestly I can't say that was actually true because it doesn't make any sense theoretically speaking and it was only 1 study showing clockwise rotation of the maxilla and it didn't even explain anything as to how the process went and why etc.

Next to that studies on specifically temporalis muscles have indicated larger temporalis muscles are associated with a shorter face. Know what also enlargens temporalis muscles? Chewing!

There's just a huge lack of studies. It's been shown normal jaw clenching/closing is temporalis dominant and chewing and hard clenching is masseter dominant. I dont think chewing actually has a large effect on the maxillary height at all honestly, makes 0 sense. Food being mashed onto your upper teeth doesn't put high stress on your alveolar process and entire maxilla

link?

" . Individuals with a large temporalis proportion show an antero-posteriorly elongated neurocranium and mandibular ramus and a vertically shorter face."
i've known about the study for a while but can't engage my temporalis muscles that well without engaging my masseters, do you know how to?

ur not helping ur case

most ppl on this forum think chewing is cope, why say you saw improvements if you're not gonna post pics?
Bc I'm moving to LA eventually to become famous

@curryslayerordeath Do you have any idea why this study showed clockwise rotation?
"This suggests that the maxilla tends to rotate clockwise with increasing masseter muscle size, while the mandible rotates counter- clockwise."

Wider zygos from chewing? Whered you hear that?

That's logical, your temporalis and masseter muscles are connected

I thin it's the act of opening and the repeated teeths touching which is good forcr over time

I can't post pics but my left masseters is significantly larger the right, the zygos on left side are laterally wider to, seems like muscles press bone outside

Does that mean gonial gets worse

maybe due to upward force on the posterior region of the maxilla, if you look at the won moon study they achieved CCW rotation of the maxilla by applying upward force on the anterior region of the maxilla, the relationship may not be so straight forward doe
