supras + infras can’t save everyone. if you have truly bug eyes it’s OD or death. Otherwise there would be no need for graves’ disease patients to get OD

99.99% of people dont have grave's diseases

Most indians just lack the infra+supra combo

I’m so boneless in my under eye but my eye area would literally be fixed with lower eyelid retraction and infra implants jfl

i would have a human side profile if I did that

My eye area would mog so hard just with a fat graft and lower eyelid retraction and drop down supras

Asked an oculoplastic surgeon, obviously answer is going to be somewhat biased tho, he said:

“First, implants can actually cause bone resorption, which can worsen the problem over time. Second, implants don't age with you, so they can start to look strange over time. Next, implants are to some degree hydrophilic, which can lead to an endemnast appearance, essentially just looking puffy. In the hands of someone who's doing orbital decompression frequently, orbital decompression would likely have lower risk profile and better results than implants”

My take is to first get a Hertel protrusion test done. This measures your eyeball protrusion. If it’s 21mm or above I’d consider orbital decompression. If less then supras+infras might be better. Example in photo, the guy had a 23mm level of protrusion (7mm above normal). He had no graves’ disease but this is on par with people who suffer from it, he had to get an orbital decompression.
