i just liked seeing big monsters go kaboom, i wasn't really paying attention to the plot and deeper meaning.

When I was 15 the most memorable 'complex' manga I read was Chainsaw Man.

It does seem like a funny, surface-level manga at first glance, but Chainsaw Man (at least Part 1, I don't remember Part 2 AT ALL) is pretty well-written and deep

fujimoto's kinda obsessed with incestuous relationships tho, it's lwk weird : p

like first there's denji tryna fuck power, and later in the series they become sorta like siblings??

but also i love the way their relationship develops and how it's represented so subtly (he shows it in their actions pretty well) beautiful

and in Fire Punch (i didn't read it, relayin what i've heard from other sources) that the main character's sister wanted to have babies with him (gross)
