If its being reborn with no prior knowledge, your conciousness is gone, the same way it would be if nothing happened after death.

So in the end the result is the same.

This is exactly my thought. Even if there was no good or higher entity what if the universe just keeps collapsing, big banging and collapsing again ad invinitum and you are constantly reborn with dice being thrown from scratch every time. You could have a few lifes as Chads but countless curry lifes to go through in between.
