i am thinking about connecting my laptop with external gpu

i have i5 13th gen in my mother board but integrated graphics card
8 gigs of ram ( single channel )

and i also don't want something serious to make a pc rn

i m thinking about adding gtx 1070 - 8gb as a external gpu

8 gigs of ddr4 ram to open dual channel so 16 gigs dual channel mode

and connect it to a external monitor

ofc i need a psu of 500 w to 550 w

Unless you have something called a thunderbolt port which I doubt you do given the low specs I don't recommend doing it. You'll be bottlenecked by the cable which connects your GPU. Your GPU can't be utilised to its maximum

yeah i don't have so i wanted to connect it to wifi pin connector at the mother board ?

You won't get full performance from the GPU (simply a bottleneck, as jason said)
I suggest you just buy a new pc

Buy a used PC. 1080s and 2080s are going for cheap these days

Also you don't need ddr5 necessarily. The ram memory capacity matters a lot more than speeds especially for older titles. Only shell out money for ddr5 if you want to play the newest titles or want to do AI inference and heavy code compilations and other niche engineering tasks.

i mean i might need this as iam studying engineering rn and there is ai / ml in the course as well

No don't buy expensive hardware you can't afford for a single usecase like a course or a game or whatever. That's foolishl. You can literally rent entire gpu clusters for pennies these days. cloud gaming exists too. Only spend money on computer when the cost is trivial to your wallet or it directly contributes to you making more money. a computer is a tool not a bmw.
