Try horrors from other countries. American horror films are usually about psychos or catholic stuff.
Yeah this was a supernatural slasher. My favorite horror movies are Japanese. Hands down. South Korean ones are ok, Thai and Cantonese, Mandarin ones are basically American. So I avoid those as well.
There are a few American horror movies that I love and Final Destination is definitely one of those. They are nostalgic too, because I watched them as a teenager. Other movies I have a soft spot for are A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Friday the 13th, I Know What You Did Last Summer and Scream.
It’s a good way for me to escape reality, really. I appreciate a good one.

I have not watched Begotten but it doesn’t have an actual plot like a movie. Just bizarre scenery/imagery, really. I have NOT watched Cannibal Holocaust (1980) out of respect for the animals they killed but I have seen its spiritual successor, the Green Inferno (2015). I did watch Terrifier 2, the bedroom scene was over-kill, JFL.

Oh yeah those are good. Everyone hates Scream 3 on Reddit but fuck those fags. Scream 3 was great and far better than 4 and 5. I haven’t seen 6 yet. The Faculty was nice too but not as memorable as Scream 3. I suppose you also like Final Destination then as well as uhhh I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Exactly why I moved on to Japanese horror movies. All thrill no shill. Forgot to mention the jump scares. They’re annoying and not scary at all.

Here’s a fun fact about Scream 3. They actually had a different ending to the movie but before it was released, someone leaked the script which led to the writers coming up with a new one instead and that’s what we see in the final product. In fact, you can even find the original script online. If you can’t find it, I will make sure to find it for you and then share it. Then I will read it as well, from start to finish. Yes, I liked all the Scream movies so far but I am saying it’s best in the order they were released. I will see if I can download Scream 6 otherwise I’m gonna have to wait longer. Have you watched Evil Dead? That one is really good, too. There’s a new one out in the movie theaters. It’s gonna be a few more months before I can download that one. There are also movies that are so bad that they are good, most notably The Toxic Avenger. It’s a cult classic by now. I remember watching it years ago while watching a movie together with other internet people and we had a blast. I heard Hollywood was interested in a remake but I don’t think they should mess with it. It’s perfectly bad.
