Doesnt matter, Windows has been getting shit for a long time. If I were you I'd switch to Linux. I myself have Whonix installed on Arch. Imagine how paranoid I am. Use public wifi too

It is open source and free. Free as in free beer. You can review the code though you and me are too noobie to check the code.

I can game and program on Linux, so its fine for me. VLC player is also goated. Use Arch, it is the best in my opinion. Best documentation of an OS by far without a shadow of doubt.

Because it gets regular updates, the people who manage the OS listen and fix bugs quickly and if you ever run into trouble you can find a solution pretty quickly
