I asked for a different job

So I'm starting a full time different role within the same company, which I was basically forced into as I wasn't getting any shifts

But now, where I currently am, one person has been fired and another is leaving. So there are 2 jobs which should be available. So I've asked my manager about them, even tho I just signed a contract for this other job yesterday

Tbh though, the manager must've known the guy was leaving when I last asked a couple of weeks ago, and he said there was nothing. So I think he just doesn't want to give me it for some reason. Anyway, we'll see what he says

This one is 28-35 hours a week depending on if it's peak times

40 hours (what I'm gonna be starting otherwise) is too long
