Yesterday i calculated my calories wrong with my app and forgot 1000 cals. So i ate 3500 instead of 2600. I also weigh 0.5kg more this morning, which could be water or just food in my stomach.

Question 1:
Can i compensate this calorie overdose by just eating less for the next 2-3 days and bring my weekly average calories down? Someone told me only the weekly balance matters.

Question 2:
I just read that for gaining 1kg of fat, you need 7000 calories. Does anyone know on which time frame you can gain this kilo? Lets say you eat 500 surplus for 2 weeks, would you gain one Kilo?

yes, weekly average is the determining factor in weight-gain/loss.

Yes, getting and losing fat isn't immediate process, unlike water mass.

Of course it's about long term averages. I have binged like extra 5000 calories in a day and still lost weight that month.
