People undeestimate autistic tendencies when it comes to chess. A study found that chess grandmasters rely a lot on memory, they remember positions they've already seen. The same studies found that the grandmasters only have better memories only when it comes to chess positions.

i have this feeling for a long time, there are 2 types of people intellectuals like kramnik and low iq baboons like carlsen
each has its pros and cons and dk which one is better still, but it applies to everything in life
i think 2nd type is better because you can excel way above anyone with enough practice if what you are doing doesnt have much creativity like football, mma, trades or computer games, if you wanna be top engineer you better be like 1st
