If AI, automation, better medicine and more powerful sources of energy (e.g. fusion) are developed then asia is just set up for massive success. With a little more leisure time and freedom the asian people will be able to really advance as a civilization in all areas from culture to technology. What is holding asia back currently are technological and economic limitations that force people into a life of drudgery and force governments to be overly restrictive to maintain harmony and hold back widespread poverty. If these problems can be overcome then people can start having families and exploring a deeper culture beyond materialism.
You see asia has set up the groundwork to be an absolute juggernaut of the late 21st and 22nd century. It has a tradition of rigorous education, has embraced modern technology, philosophy and infrastructure, avoided delusional and decadent ideologies all the while maintaining cultural continuity with its ancient roots. Even if life in asia is currently really hard people still have the means to overcome these problems and create a better society. This is in stark contrast to europe which is set up for complete failure and america which while not likely to economically collapse may culturally collapse. This is why I chose asia over the west. @Octillionaire @Collagen or rope @PrinterAndFaxMachin
