But ofc they wouldn't announce it because user data is there and could spark a chain of lawsuits and sue their asses to oblivion. According to regulations and compliance standards. You have to acknowledge and clearly disclose data breaches like this. Not acknowledging it will get you in more trouble then acknowledging but companies often sweep these small data breaches under the rug hoping for someone not to notice
