eggs are more nutritious when raised on pasture (grass, weeds, slugs & worms etc) conventional eggs are fed soy and gmo grain.

Slugs and worms can carry gapeworms

A gapeworm, also known as a red worm and forked worm, is a parasitic nematode worm that infects the tracheas of certain birds. The resulting disease, known as "gape" or "the gapes", occurs when the worms clog and obstruct the airway.

Could that explain why eggs were also high in phtalates?
Found this in a study:
Maybe the phthalates were just leaching into the meat from the plastic wrap packaging? Probably not, conclude the researchers: “the finding that egg consumption is significantly associated with levels of MEHP too, suggests that chickens themselves may be contaminated with phthalates and that food is not being contaminated just through packaging and processing.”

regardless, pastured eggs can have up to 4x the omega 3, 5x the nutrients and 5x the beta carotene of conventional eggs.
With conventional eggs, you're basically consuming soy and corn balls.

Yeah I know I"m just wondering wether the phtalates naturally occur in eggs or not cause I've heard claims it did. But phtalates could also be passed down to eggs thanks to the mothers bloodstream
