I came back from such a nice date today

It was such a nice date, she was so lovely. Every hug, every head pat, every hand holding moment and I just forgot that I even had this stupid derealization disorder. We got drunk and while I got calm we went on a drive just to waste gas around singing songs at full volume with the sunroof open and hugging now and then.

Yes I’m still under the episode yet I can enjoy life so im lowkey accepting this the way I am.

You could get some types of meds etc but it won’t fix the problem itself it will only be a plaster to the issue

I think you should accept this and every time you are “in” that derealization phase, just say to yourself it’s only a matter of time before it’s going to pass

I forgot to tell you but in the first few months when I started experiencing it, I was freaked out and felt so anxious since I literally thought I died and this is life after death and I’m like watching in 3rd person. But when you get used to it you realize it’s just a feeling and not the reality (literally)
