I have scoliosis, meaning my spine is crooked/curved

this is an X ray of my spine (recent)
The curvature in the upper spine is 51 degrees and in the lower spine 45 degrees
Guidelines say to get surgery at 50 degrees in the upper spine, and my doctor said so too.
I am currently 15, turning 16 in February and i am 184 cm
Should i get this surgery? Has anyone else gotten it, and if yes how old were you and how much did you grow?

Just looked it up yes your spinal growthplates will fuse but "its ok because your legs will grow" fucking bullshit do not get that surgery wait til your plates fuse.

Ya but that’s not accounting for other factors such as it become more irreversible, more complications, etc

He’ll just speak to his doctor but as with any surgery you better be grilling the Dr. to cut the B.S.
