Just applying half the amount of the 0,05 should be the same as applying a regular amount of 0,025 right?

1/2 of 0.05 is the exact same amount of pure tret as 1 of 0.025. However 1 of 0.025 is unlikely to be as effective because it has more non-tretinoin vehicle, so it will absorb worse.

I started on 0,05 and i just apply as much as my skin can handle, when i start peeling i leave it for a couple days.
