Is there any being that doesn't have a "life"? Why we would judge that certain objects composed of matter are not alive when "everything is alive".

For example, why is a rock not alive? Why is the Sun not alive? What's the difference between those beings and animals or plants, if they're also big and composed by many elements. It's because they cannot see or think? But certainly they're individuals.

Are unliving beings incapable of feeling? Atleast in a minimal sence like when plants try to defend themselves despite not being able to move. I think if any individual has essencial characteristics, it's alive.

from scientific perspective because they have no neurons so can't think or feel, no processes going on with them they are just matter that exists

from religious perspective they have no soul but this only applies to humans

The blob doesn't have neurons but acts smart, defends itself from dangerous environments.

Are amoebas alive for example? They're cappable of changing shape anytime.

The science thinks these beings don't feel? A teacher said humans are alive because they can breathe.
