From my knowledge, the most pointed out differences is how they structure the trinity, their opinion on The Virgen Marry, and Icons/decorations

so like a long time ago emperor of East Rome didnt like the pope and he decided to split of and make Orthodox Christianity.

main differences are that churches of the orthodox countries self-govern, Purgatory is different, i think they also dont believe that Mary was a virgin, orthodox also want to repair union with god while Catholics care more about making up for it in other ways, the original sin in ortodox is more about corruption then guilt
