It’s just so odd to wrap you brain around, I mean. You’re sitting still yet “time” passes on

Sure, but time doesn’t actually exist. It’s just a way to measure how long an existence has existed. So as I’ve been typing this out I’m moving through space and yet I can’t rewind to go back to the neuron state I was at 5 “seconds ago”

I’m not even going anywhere with this. I’ve just been hung up on researching time for a while and it’s stuck in my brain

Yeah its crazy how the distant past was once the present
soon no one who fought in WW2 will be alive
they survived the most meat grinder war of all time, but in the end they still all die

I mean it’s really bizarre stuff to think about when you even look at one hour

Think about exactly where you were at an hour ago in terms of an exact position of space. Even if it was in your house and you haven’t left since then you’re nowhere near that currently in terms of spatial position

but yeah ww2 wasn’t even 100 years ago which feels not that long at all, but in terms of actual time passed and change it’s an incredible time. I can’t even begin to fathom something like 10000 years
