Dudes value little compliments immensly, say someone says you're looking bigger you'd be glowing for a week afterwards. With girls, those little compliments feel much more shallow because of how often they're socially rewarded. If a girl buys a dress all her friends immideatly say how good it looks on her regardless if its the truth.

Very much true. People always assume I have (had) a great life, many friends, lovers and little to no struggles.
I don't have to pretend or anything, because people always fill this in for me.
