I can't decide whether Russian is a disgusting subhuman language or nice actually.

I quite like it. I barely speak Russian myself, I only know a handful of words, a few sentences and expressions, but I’ve been exposed to it a lot because one of my close friends is Russian. It's a very expressive language, and, structurally, it carries far more meaning within itself than English does.

English is comparatively a very flat language. Even if you don’t understand Russian well, you can still feel that it’s far more expressive and dense than English and most Germanic languages in general.

Music can be a way to tell this, Russian music has always been dramatic and expressive in ways that other languages’ music struggles to reach. A random Russian group or singer like 4 Pozitsii Bruno sounds so much more raw and convincing when they’re singing about certain subjects than just about anything I’ve ever heard in English, I don’t understand the lyrics but when I translated them it was obvious.

That's exactly where my dilemma started jfl.
Listening to russian music.
Sometimes i fucking hate it and it's not even cuz of the song but the actual language.
Sometimes I love it.

Same with hearing it spoken, even tho that happens very rarely.

As a russian, it's both in their own respective contexts.
Yeah. Probs jfl

I understand. I like some russian songs and artists like kino. When sung it can even sound beautiful but when spoken it sounds disgusting.
