For context, one of the uncs i go to the climbing gym with has a step son who for a couple years i would see on and off

I would teach him how to climb and wrestle abunch, earlier today i heard they were moving away and having a little goodbye party from climbing unc and i decided i would swing by

His stepson didnt recognize me, like one bit, i tried to talk to him and he was like “sorry i dont remember you” to which i told him my name and he goes “ooohh i remember you, you look different”

My good climbing buddy that i used to talk to abunch was also there and he told me it took a second to recognize me
