indeed, anyone that thinks they're going to make up for shit coloring or bug eyes by getting bi-max is coping, halos aren't even important, just the lack of recession is everything, nothing you have on top of neutral will make up for anything that's below neutral.

fix negatives directly instead of trying to make up for them, the only thing that works for is your forehead because you can cover it with hair, maybe your jaw to some extend since you can cover it with a beard, but that's only if it suits your face.
