The reason its affecting me is because A girl from my school tried to chat with me.
She let me know that she wanted to get to know me.
She said one of the bests ways to know what kind of person I am is by what music I listen to.
I told her I dont listen to music.
she said, "the fuck"
I was a bit confused, it felt like I had just said something very offensive.
I told her why.
It feels like a bunch of noise clutter. And it distracts me way to much. I also dont need it to make me feel a certain way or help me with anything.
I have tried to listen to it performatively and force myself to like it.]
But I just couldnt...
She kept talking to me after that but then every interaction we had after that was awkward and it almost seemed like she felt she was doing charity work by just talking to me.
Next time should I just lie to keep things going?
And or should I pretend to just like and listen to music.
I absolutely dislike listening to music.
Dont get how most of the population needs it to function.
Im fine with a roadtrip of silence and no sounds but my tires rolling against the road.
Does not liking music make me look autistic?
