I can't look people in the eye

People joke about this but i accually struggle when looking at someone in the eyes especially a girl. One time I was talking to a girl on my way home because we know eachother and she kept looking me straight in the eyes as i kept looking away. She then said " are you autisic haha why can you not look me in my eyes ?" This happens a lot and I can't take my recessed face. Everytime I talk to girls I feel like they slowly lose interest because they notice my flaws and try to find someone better.
I wish i could just look normal and be like mtn so I don't have to think about my face 24/7. The same girl keeps joking and calls me autistic because I can't look her in the eyes ( Not only her, multiple people say this to me). I hate her a lot but the point is IT'S OVERRRR!

I have the same issue I notice when my confidence is high (or higher than usual) I can hold eye contact for around 2 seconds before looking away
