depends on what you usually wear if youre more into basics just get multiple pairs of straight slim cut denim in black and dark blue, high top sneakers either canvas or white leather, slightly cropped t shirts in neutral colors and zip ups and regular leather belt
or if u wanna be super tuff and niche get skinny jeans pointed toe boots leather jacket

never owned any ralph lauren but its pretty good from what i know. yes uniqlo is good for basics and its better quality than most other mall brands. try shopping second hand online too. a lot of my saint laurent jeans were under 40 euros and you can often find designer for very low prices
