Ur doing it wrong then. in the knee method use ur 4 other fingers as sort of like bolts screwed into ur knee then place ur thumb on the part u wanna pull after u place it pull ur face backwards and ur knee forwards so it creates force and make sure to keep ur thumb when u want the force and pull so u get more force
