I'm curious if anyone else here deals with this. Ever since I started really digging into maxillofacial anatomy, the skull, the bones, and all the ways they can develop, my perception of people has completely changed. It’s like a switch has been flipped in my brain. If I'm out in public or just scrolling online, I can almost instantly spot the subtle signs of bad/not "ideal" facial development on anyone. It’s not something I even have to think about, my brain just automatically flags what it sees. It genuinely feels like I'm wearing a permanent pair of X-ray goggles that are tuned to identify specific anatomical traits. To be clear, it’s not me judging them. I don't think the people are "ugly" or look down on them for it, I know it's something completely out of their control. It’s just this constant, objective observation that I can't seem to turn off, no matter who I'm looking at. This is such an incredibly specific issue, and I can't exactly bring it up with my normie friends without sounding like im insane. anyone else experience this too????
