i watched the chainsaw man movie in the cinema with my girlfriend and everything outside of the fights and aurafarming was miserable to watch

"romance" in anime is very corny and cringe, because it's made for gooners by gooners.

Especially the way they talk and their "jokes" and i actually had to sit through listening the entire theatre laugh at the main character saying "boobs kawaii!!!"
