Well today we ran a 10k and we have known since yesterday that’s what practice was going to be (which is different from most days)
I was really looking forward to this and showed up how I usually run which is barefoot. It is better for your calves and my feet and lower legs have adapted to this over the years. Even done this last semester and nobody said anything. It would feel way worse to wear shoes.
Well before we went this motherfucker explained what we were about to go outside and do and said except cardiologyscribe is staying here and will do (the shit we usually do) since you don’t have shoes
Well I said to fuck I’m not. He said yes you are and he can’t have me getting injured on the schools insurance. Well he is not a fucking coach his role is worthless and a formality. I said infront of everyone you are ignorant and I’m going.
I went and he realized there is nothing he can do to stop me. It felt great.
