I definitely do not consider myself better than native speakers, but for sure better than gringos

Damn mirin. Would you say private lessons were the most time efficient if on a busy schedule? I lived in Madrid for a year and a half but only managed to go to from A1 to B1. Probably one of my biggest regrets not putting enough effort and hanging out with other international students instead of practicing with locals

I make grammar mistakes when it's the more advanced vocabulary, like past subjunctive, since it's not something I get to practice that often conversationally

sitting in my car and imitating the accent, and just listening to music non-stop + lots of conversation practice
