heres the first 2 cents, well in ancient greece, there was acommon thought that your actions would echo in this world forever, the thought of moments of your life being forever, often being a quote in stories along the lines of "this moment will never die" or a variation of that, and the modern version of this is not hard to find, like going viral for example, in hindsight, the vid will eventually be forgotten, and never to be seen again but yet people still risk their social status for viral videos, and even on this forum, the thought of making a thread that required a large amount of effort, this could be thought of as the same myth those greeks believed, and indeed it is likely the same, as most of our forum chads (ehren/salludon) took up the torch and are still talked abt today, wether they willinglywanted it or not, theyre action echo in the site forever

That's the case for real life too, not exclusive to here
