yeah true, its completely arbitrary, even in religions they change the rules based on how it benefits them. is murder and slavery okay? depends on the day.

Yeah it’s a shame though because people often get hung up on the semantics of it

Obviously there’s no such thing as “truly objective” morality

But if 99.9% of society agrees on specific things and acts at such it basically functions that way regardless of what you call it

But for me, I try and act in self interest without completely fucking over people who don’t deserve it course
