But how would a murderer feel if his family were murdered and taken away from him? How would an lgbtq person feel if their children or close friends were gay?

Stealing benefits you, right? But does it benefit the person you stole from? It actually harms them. Evil is basically this cycle of siphon. One siphons from another. People take lives usually for their benefit, whether mental or physical. This concept of common morality is what sparks religion. Kinda off topic but basically religion explains why we have this morality thing. Because animals don’t give a crap, they have no concept of good or evil.
