I was born in a small town in kerala but my parents moved to the city when I was still a baby where I dad grinded his ass off to give us a good life. My upbringing different from what could've been had we stayed there. I could've been a meandering stranger. Just a careless young man kicking around the backstreets of Kerala in sun-drenched alleys in Kochi or munching on street-side parottas ,flirting with girls at chai stalls, no big ambitions weighing me down. I see so many guys around my age who are like this.

I'd probably drop out after just complete a easy degree, maybe pick up some odd gig like helping at a family shop. Get hitched by 20 to someone from the neighborhood arranged or love, doesn't matter have a couple of kids early, settle into a modest home with a tiny garden growing curry leaves and coconuts. Probably something straightforward like a clerk at a local bank or a teacher in a village school.

Weekends spent at church beach hangouts, or family gatherings with appam. No stress about climbing ladders, just living day to day, finding joy in the simple stuff.

But god didn't want that for me. This wasnt written in my book of destiny. I've realised it. God gave me talents, lots of hardships, loads of ambition, filled me emotions like jealousy, neurodivergence and other virtues and vices that make living such a life impossible. I wasn't meant for that life so there's no point thinking about it. I'm built for a different kind of world.

Most Sikkim monasteries are chill and peaceful. Even without Buddhism, I'd definitely live there if I had the option to do so

Monasteries in India are run by Buddhists though. Atleast the ones I visited. So you wouldnt be allowed to stay there
Iโ€™m not going to India
The .org monastery will probably be set up in Belize

Damn my visa wont be accepted there. I'll probably sneak in by a ship carrying oil container
All you need to do is renew a tourist visa every month for a year, and then you can apply for PR
Thatโ€™s why itโ€™s a great choice
We will go on monastery snorkelling trips
