i did something insane today. a foid from my ward was enthusiastically talking to me, telling unfunny jokes etc nonstop, and you know what i did?

i literally closed my eyes for 20 seconds or so because i felt she was stealing my energy as if she was expecting a reaction of me or so

it looked probably weird, but it helped, i felt better after that.

i might use another option, which is walk out the room WHILE she is talking, not waiting until she finishes, its another tactic
