The gaze seeks gold, not depth or spark,
Leaving shadows to claim the dark.
Dreams are crushed, and silence grows,
For what’s unseen, nobody knows.

Rules are harsh, the climb unfair,
Few will notice or even care.
Value fades with every flaw,
For judgment rules, a faceless law.
