I don’t bother applying for jobs because I don’t want an interview, unless they specifically state its entry level. I don’t feel like I could come across as knowledgeable or interested. Also, I hate interviews and the application process

Once you have a job, you get into a comfort zone where u don’t need to find another job, especially if your current one is bearable. I don’t have the motivation to be applying, and need to give a month’s notice to book days off work for an interview. If I call in sick or whatever, I don’t get paid

Job board postings usually have a lot of fluff, it’s just tradition.

You can learn on the job. For example, my brother had a co-worker guide him through tasks, was provided with plenty of documentation he could go through, plus some brushing up at home or before starting the job.

That being said, you should always look for jobs with minimal stress when you can. This includes being more "knowledgeable" in relation to the job requirements, finding the job itself interesting and not boring, having a good work environment, and room for growth.
